The smaller bag of USDA Certified Organic Greener Living Soap Nuts contains enough soap nuts for approximately 150 to 200 loads of laundry. Comes with small muslin wash bags, and printed instructions on the back of the main cloth bag. 500g (1.1 lbs).
Features
  • Soap nuts aren't technically nuts. They're fruit, taken from the soapberry tree (Sapindus mukorrosi). The shell of the nut contains saponin, a natural cleansing substance. In appearance, they're similar to the lychee nut, yet they're not grown for consumption.
  • After 4 to 5 washes, you can compost them. They are a bit sticky to the touch and have a slight vinegar smell.
  • Soap nuts are perfect for HE and front load washers as they do not create many suds! Just remember to put whole soap nuts in the drum of the machine. Soap nuts liquid can go in the detergent drawer.
  • The soap nuts also act as a fabric softener
