SHIPPING & DELIVERY TIMES
 
Shipping rates and estimated delivery times may vary depending on your location. We use Canada Post Expedited Service for the majority of our orders within Canada. Online orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding statutory holidays) from the day we receive your order.
 
SHIPPING RATES
Shipping charges are based by region and our flat rate shipping includes Canada Post's standard insurance coverage for loss or damage of your order. Applicable provincial and federal taxes will be applied to all Canadian orders.

RETURN TO SENDER - INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS
Please double check your "shipping to" address, especially if you are sending your order to a gift recipient. Returned items to Edamame Kids by Canada Post due to you listing an incorrect address will be charged a $15 return fee before we resend your order and/or should you or your recipient pick up the "return to sender" parcel at our store.
 
RUSH SHIPPING
If you require your item by a certain date, we offer Rush Shipping. If you would like to use this service, please contact us by phone at (403) 453-0454 before you checkout. We would be happy to discuss a revised rush shipping quote.

Estimated delivery time is based on business days, excluding statutory holidays.

For apartment buildings, a delivery attempt will be made at the door. In buildings with an intercom, attempting to contact the customer using the intercom is considered a delivery attempt.
 
Delivery Notice Canada Post card is used to show that the item is available for pick up at a nearby post office. A Final Notice card will be sent to the addressee if the item has not been picked up after 5 calendar days. The item will be held at the post office for a total of 15 calendar days after which time it will be returned to Edamame Kids.
 
LOCAL PICKUP
Local pickup at our retail store is available to customers during our regular business hours. If you would like to pick up your order locally, click on "Other Delivery Options" and select that option during checkout. Once you have ordered your item for local pickup, we will contact you by email with an availability date and further instructions.
 
TRACKING YOUR ONLINE ORDER
Once your order has been accepted at Canada Post, you will receive an email with the Canada Post tracking number and we will update your online account with the tracking information. You will be able to track the online delivery status with this tracking number on the Canada Post website.
 
FREE SHIPPING PROMOTION
Free shipping offer applies on all Canadian orders over $120.00 (before tax).
 
AVAILABILITY/OUT OF STOCK
We maintain our online store inventory in conjunction with available stock at our retail location. Some of our online products shown will indicate the availability to be "In Stock Soon. Order now to get in line. First come first served." If you proceed to order this item with that option, we will contact you to confirm an estimated delivery date of when the item will be back in stock. At that point, you have the choice of waiting or removing the backordered item from your order.
  
CANADA POST DELIVERY INTERRUPTION
In the event of a postal strike by Canada Post, shipping times will be affected. We will make alternative arrangements in order to minimize disruption of online service and customers will be able to choose from the following four options:
 
1) Pick up your order at our retail store in Calgary (simply select this option at check out);
2) Process your order as normal and wait until postal strike ends for online shipping to resume;
3) Request a quote to ship via courier (ie: UPS or FedEx) within Canada; and
4) Cancel your order for a full refund. 
 
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
If you live outside of Canada, please email us at info@edamamekids.ca or by phone at (403) 453-0454 to obtain a shipping quote before you finalize your order. Please note that you are responsible for any additional fees that may be charged at customs.
 
Before we ship any orders into the United States, we will ensure the products you have selected meet the requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). If the item you selected does not meet these standards, then we will notify you by phone or email and cancel your order.
